Limited toiletries and a rather small bathroom sink complicated daily routines, especially with a kettle. Decent breakfast options, but not abundant. leftovers didn’t inspire confidence in freshness. The en-suite water noises disrupted sleep, suggesting maintenance could improve the experience. Consider asking for a room away from the street if you value a good night's rest.

the food portions for dinner were super generous and pretty good value. the hotel has this lovely old feel, just the kind of warm welcome we needed. the breakfast was really tasty and filling too. Their award-winning pies are definetly a highlight! really enjoyed our stay and felt cozy in the double room.
room could use some refurbishment, felt a bit tired and the bathroom was kinda small. what bothered me was the long wait at reception when we arrived, felt like no one was around to help us out.
